A ceremony in the center of the village
A&G and I met in the heart of Megève with their friends to celebrate their union—an intimate wedding with around thirty guests in March. Despite the season, there was no Alpine chill, only the beautiful sunshine that Haute-Savoie is known for perfect for a wedding celebration. The couple, incredibly elegant and deeply in love, chose to marry in the village where they had both vacationed and which held a special place in their hearts. A truly symbolic destination for these two mountain lovers.
The Discovery of Les Fermes de Marie
A&G were absolutely determined to have their wedding at Les Fermes de Marie, and they certainly weren’t disappointed. Both for the beauty of the venue, which I was experiencing for the first time, and for the atmosphere it exudes. A world of luxury combined with a warm and welcoming ambiance—truly perfect for an exceptional wedding.
Emotionally charged moments surrounded by the mountains
After becoming familiar with the venue, it was time for emotion, with a series of magnificent speeches in this enchanting setting, accompanied by the gentle melody of birdsong, adding a magical touch to this poignant moment. As a wedding photographer, capturing the glances, smiles, and tears in such a setting is always a true pleasure.
A cocktail under the Haute-Savoie sun
After this moment, and with the beautiful sunshine still shining down, the guests made their way to the cocktail party, held in the garden of Les Fermes de Marie. Everyone savored the delicious local specialties while enjoying the breathtaking view of the mountains.

Les Fermes de Marie is also renowned for its refined cuisine. The meal was held in the restaurant located within the hotel’s main chalet, which had been beautifully decorated for the occasion.
