Today I’d like to introduce you to a wedding full of love at a venue I was lucky enough to photograph twice this year, in two different atmospheres. The gallery I’m presenting today is that of Manon and Jérémy, two local kids who said yes to each other for a wedding at the Château de Saint-Sixt.
The Château de Saint-Sixt is a place of great beauty and character nestled in the heart of Haute-Savoie.
As a wedding photographer in Haute Savoie, it’s always a great pleasure to discover and photograph a new venue in this region. I’m very happy to have had the opportunity to capture this wedding at the Château de Saint-Sixt.
On the program: an adorable bride and groom, a loving secular ceremony and festivities worthy of the name.
Château de Saint Sixt is nestled in the heart of the Haute-Savoie region, surrounded by mountains. Located between Annecy and Geneva, it’s a place of character that’s quite rare in the region for its size and the opportunities it offers for a wedding. Weather permitting, you’ll have the chance to get married in the lush green gardens with a view of the mountains. In the event of inclement weather, a magnificent Pigeonnier and terrace will allow you to celebrate your union in an authentic setting, sheltered from the raindrops.
Manon and Jérémie live in Paris but are both originally from the Haute-Savoie region. Together since they were 16, it was 15 years later that they decided to join forces and start a family. Naturally, they chose the Alps, and after several visits, fell in love with the venue and decided to have their wedding at the Château de Saint-Sixt.
Manon and Jérémy opted for a secular ceremony in the gardens of the château. The weather was perfect, allowing them to carry out this loving ceremony, surrounded by their closest friends, family and witnesses, who had coordinated their outfits for the occasion. A touching and tastefully decorated ceremony for this wedding at the Château de Saint-Sixt.
After a successful ceremony, there’s nothing quite like a cocktail party in the château’s grounds. The shady areas allow you to cool off, while the magnificent light makes for superb photos. I love immortalizing your smiles and those of your guests during the cocktail. The bouquet toss and here the sausage toss are perfect for adding a dose of joy to these beautiful festivities.
For my couple photos, I’m always on the lookout for an intimate location and beautiful light to capture your pictures. The Château de Saint Sixt and its garden are full of beautiful spots for stunning couples photos in almost fairytale light, for photos you’ll treasure for the rest of your life.
If there’s one thing that’s important at a wedding, it’s to surround yourself with quality service providers who will guarantee you a stress-free day full of happiness. I can’t recommend Julie of Love is All Event, a wedding planner who has worked on weddings at the Château de Saint-Sixt, Fougères and Tralala, a florist renowned in the region for her work with dried flowers, but who has also worked wonders with fresh flowers. And for a touch of sweetness, Cake Creative Emotion wowed us with its splendid and delicious wedding cake.
One thing’s for sure, Manon, Jérémy and their guests, like good Haut-Savoyards, know how to celebrate. They danced in a crazy atmosphere until the end of the night. To my great surprise, the groom even did the splits in her white dress, a first for me and I can guarantee you I wasn’t expecting it at all. The result: a more than successful wedding at the Château de Saint-Sixt.
