Today I’d like to introduce you to a wonderful couple’s session I did in the hills above Annecy, on the Col de la Forclaz. I met up with Lola and Denis, who are getting married in the region in October.
The Col de la Forclaz is undoubtedly the best viewpoint on Lake Annecy, and the perfect place for a couple’s session.
A COUPLE'S PHOTO SESSION IN ANNECY
Lola and Denis contacted me a few months ago, to shoot their wedding photos. They wanted to do an engagement shoot to have beautiful images and get to know me before the event. For this session, they wanted a mountain location with a view of the lake. I naturally chose the Col de la Forclaz, for its view and mountain atmosphere, which offer a variety of backdrops for a successful session.

Before my couple sessions, I always send an inspiration board to help you choose your outfit for the big day. And I have to say, Lola and Denis didn’t disappoint. So much so that I recognized them from afar, having never seen them before. The outfit, like the location, is what makes the difference for a great session.
THE STORY OF THIS LOVELY COUPLE
The couple, who both hail from the region, met as summer camp counselors. Love knocked at their door and they decided to marry in Switzerland, in a beautiful Protestant church with a panoramic view over Lake Geneva.
